i like person a & partner.
i like person b. person b has a partner who socially isolates themselves.
i have invited person a & person b to a place and a time. same place and time.
person a & b like each other.
partner of person a & person b like each other.
THE ONLY ODD ONE OUT IS THE PARTNER OF PERSON B
if only i could tell both of these people in real life that they are being annoying and horrible. i would like to spend a fun afternoon with both of them.

what is happening to the world right now?
people seem afraid.
politicians and the media seem to be doing their best to keep people afraid, divided, down.
civil unions have been...softened...or wound back for same sex couples.

because happy people are offensive to "christians". go team.

i really don't understand the position that some hetero people have. "same sex marriage will hurt the institution of marriage".
my question is: how?
tell me.
in detail.
how will two people who are in love, committing to be together TO THE EXCLUSION OF ALL OTHERS interfere with your marriage?
is it because you are having an affair with one of them and don't want to be found out?
that is the only thing that makes sense. otherwise, it's not even a debate.
john howard (http://www.australianmarriageequality.com/liberal.htm) decided that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
it's not a church thing.
it's not a religion thing.
it IS a divisive political stance.
if the amendment put in by former prime minister howard was taken back out again (yes, i am aware that it would be more complicated than just liquid paper) then this would be a non issue.
for this rant, i went to google to get the links.
