driving about

on easter sunday, driving through the northern suburbs i came across a round-about.
this is not the unusual thing.
there was a car going the wrong way around this round-about. it was being driven by an old guy. there were cars beeping at him and flashing their lights.
luckily it was not peak hour and there were relatively few cars on the road.
at the time that i saw him, he hadn't had an accident. i hope he got where he was going in one piece, but i don't think that he should drive anymore.
this particular round-about is quite large, but that's not really an excuse to be going in the wrong direction.
