We are currently trying to revive the site! I am asking all the members on here to put a Gothic Auctions banner on their pages Myspace, Facebook, Livejoural, Vampire Freaks etc. The banner is located on the Gothic Auctions homepage under Promote GA. We are hoping to drive more traffic to the site.

as i was driving to work today, i went the way i usually go.
i had to stop for a woman just standing in the right hand lane. i beeped at her. she looked quite insulted that i'd do such a thing.
car vs person? you'd lose lady.
she then vaguely wandered to the centre island. grr! why didn't she just cross straight to it?
older woman. asian.
foolishness. she's a potential hazzard to herself. the traffic lights she could have safely crossed at were about 50m from where she had stepped onto the road. she should have gone down there.
i hope she goes out and about with other people in future, i don't think she had a full handle on how dangerous her action was.
if i hadn't seen her, if i couldn't stop in time...she'd be seriously injured or dead.
i'm sure her family don't need that kind of grief - i certainly don't.

internet access

i'm not able to access bebo.com from work anymore. i haven't used it in ages and i was going to put a link to it from here. that or transfer those blogs to here.
i don't know which would be the better course of action. i'll have to wait until i get home and do it from there.

driving about

on easter sunday, driving through the northern suburbs i came across a round-about.
this is not the unusual thing.
there was a car going the wrong way around this round-about. it was being driven by an old guy. there were cars beeping at him and flashing their lights.
luckily it was not peak hour and there were relatively few cars on the road.
at the time that i saw him, he hadn't had an accident. i hope he got where he was going in one piece, but i don't think that he should drive anymore.
this particular round-about is quite large, but that's not really an excuse to be going in the wrong direction.
terrifying moment right there.
